Summary
Builds and maintains Python software applications day to day — designing, coding, debugging, and writing automated tests in Linux/Windows environments, while using AI-assisted tools like Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. Onsite in Clark Freeport Zone with work hours aligned to a European time zone.
Job Description:
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Python.
Write clean, efficient, scalable, and maintainable code in accordance with established development standards.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex, to support daily software development activities.
Develop, implement, and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality, functionality, and reliability.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and technical issues.
Work within Linux and Windows environments while following established development, documentation, and version control practices.
Maintain and improve existing applications by applying software development principles and coding standards.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience in software development, with strong proficiency in Python.
Demonstrated hands-on experience using Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex.
Experience writing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests.
Experience working in Linux and Windows environments is a plus.
Knowledge of software development principles, coding standards, and best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work in a European time zone.
