Qualifications
- Relevant Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Degree essential
- Diplomas and National Diplomas will not be considered
- Minimum 8 years of software development experience
- Strong expertise in Python and Django
- Experience with numerical computing libraries including NumPy and Pandas
- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Working knowledge of LaTeX
- Strong cybersecurity knowledge and experience
- Previous experience within the financial services sector
- Experience working within mature software engineering environments
- Exposure to robust software development methodologies and standards
- Experience working with mature CI/CD processes and deployment pipelines
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python and Django
- Build and optimise solutions leveraging numerical computing libraries
- Develop and maintain front-end components using modern web technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support and enhance existing enterprise applications and systems
- Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of established development processes
