We are a fast-growing tech company based in Lisbon Portugal and we are currently seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our team. As a Python Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications and tools using the Python programming language. This is a contract job with the potential for long-term employment with an attractive salary of 1000$ per month. We welcome candidates without prior work experience as we are willing to train and develop your skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable software solutions using Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and test software applications
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing codebase
- Continuously improve the performance of existing applications
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the field of Python development
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Strong knowledge of Python programming language
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Experience working with databases eg MySQL PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of version control systems eg Git
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills in English Portuguese is a plus
