We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Python Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software applications using the Python programming language.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement complex software solutions using Python.
- Troubleshoot and debug code to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Write clean, well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
- Continuously improve and optimize existing software systems.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies in the field of software development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Python Developer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Python programming language and its libraries such as Django, Flask, etc.
- Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
- Experience with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
