Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain a new Python platform for research, back-testing and trading of quantitative strategies
  • Build and maintain data infrastructure and data-loading framework with multiple data sources
  • Develop pricing models from scratch, test and optimize them
  • Create a research platform for back-testing quant strategies
  • Develop and maintain trading tools and overnight processes
  • Support production environments and distributed processing
  • Work with client/server architecture and web services
  • Handle relational databases (SQL) and document store (MongoDB)
  • Collaborate with the Quant team to deliver front-office trading capabilities
Key requirements
  • Computer Science Degree
  • 2+ years pure Python development experience in a bank, asset manager or fund
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and VBA plus advanced SQL
  • Experience with system design, programming and maintenance
  • Experience supporting production environments
  • Experience with distributed processing
  • Experience with client/server architecture
  • Experience with web services
  • In-depth Python development experience
  • Strong experience with relational databases (SQL) and MongoDB
  • Strong maths skills
  • EU passport holder (required)
