Python Developer

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our team and contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Python-based applications and scripts. The ideal candidate has strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and experience working with databases, testing, debugging, and collaborative software development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based applications, tools, and scripts.

Write clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented code following development best practices.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues and software defects.

Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.

Perform unit testing and support quality assurance activities to ensure application reliability and performance.

Work with databases to efficiently store, retrieve, and manage application data.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.

Follow established software development standards, coding guidelines, and version-control practices.

Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, processes, and system changes.

Support application maintenance, enhancements, and production issue resolution as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

3–6 years of professional experience in Python development.

Strong hands-on programming experience using Python.

Experience with databases and SQL.

Understanding of software development lifecycle, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Experience with unit testing and QA processes.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Good understanding of coding standards, clean code, and development best practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

Knowledge of cloud platforms or deployment environments.

Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
