Python Developer

Key Responsibilities

• AI Feed Management & Listing Automation: Develop Python-based automation using the Anthropic API to generate, evaluate, optimize, and update product titles, descriptions, and listing metadata in line with eBay policies and SEO guidelines.

  Compliance & QA Automation: Build automated pipelines to continuously monitor product feeds, identify policy violations and restricted terms, and improve listing quality before syncing with marketplace channels.

  Application & Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, internal systems, APIs, and background workers using Python, Node.js, Django, Flask, and FastAPI.

  API & Marketplace Integration: Integrate and synchronize third-party services, RESTful APIs, middleware platforms, and marketplace APIs, including eBay and other eCommerce platforms.

  Frontend Development: Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React to monitor automation processes, system logs, listing feeds, and application health.

  Database & Data Management: Design, optimize, and maintain relational and cloud-based databases using SQL, MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Supabase.

  Web Scraping & Data Extraction: Develop reliable web scraping and data extraction solutions using Python tools such as BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy, and Playwright. Adapt scraping tools to changes in website structures while maintaining data accuracy and reliability.

  eCommerce Automation: Develop and maintain automation solutions for eCommerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, and WooCommerce, including product feed management, listing updates, data synchronization, and workflow automation.

  Business Process Automation: Identify repetitive processes and develop automation solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and minimize errors.

  Data Processing & Custom Algorithms: Develop efficient algorithms and data-processing solutions for handling and transforming large datasets.

  DevOps & Development Practices: Use Git for version control and Docker for containerized deployment while following clean-code, testing, debugging, and documentation standards.

  System Maintenance & Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, refactor existing codebases, and continuously improve automation reliability and efficiency.

  Requirements & Solution Development: Translate business and user requirements into practical, scalable software solutions.

  Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct functional testing, debugging, performance optimization, and quality checks to ensure reliable software and automation workflows.

  Documentation & Reporting: Maintain technical documentation and provide regular progress updates and reports to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core Programming: Strong proficiency in Python (for automation, scripts, and API orchestration) and Node.js.

• AI & LLM Integration: Hands-on experience integrating the Anthropic API (Claude) via Python to handle automated text processing, compliance evaluation, and content generation.

• eCommerce Feed Management: Knowledge of product feed structures, listing optimization, and automated policy checks for platforms like eBay.

• API Development: Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (marketplace APIs, internal services, and third-party tools).

• Database Systems: Strong expertise in relational and cloud databases, specifically SQL, MS SQL, MySQL, and Supabase.

• Web Scraping & Parsing: Experience with BeautifulSoup or similar libraries for web automation and data extraction.

• Full Stack Basics: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.

• DevTools & Methodology: Experience with Git, Docker containerization, and Agile development environments.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Core Focus: AI feed automation, eBay policy compliance checks, automated title/description updates via Anthropic API, and full-stack web dev.
