TSR Consulting is looking for a skilled Senior Python Developer – GenAI/AI-ML for an exciting opportunity in Rutherford, NJ .

Position Title: Senior Python Developer – GenAI/AI-ML

Location: Rutherford, NJ

Job Type: Hybrid – 3 days to office & 2 days remote

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 6+ Months Contract with possible extension

We are seeking a Python Developer (Senior) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable Python services and AI/ML-enabled applications and a proven ability to design data models, optimize data workflows, and deliver production-grade APIs supporting GenAI initiatives .

Responsibilities:

• Develop data-driven and AI-enabled applications.
• Build scalable Python services, APIs, and asynchronous workflows.
• Design and optimize data models and database solutions.
• Work with large-scale data processing platforms to enable reliable pipelines.
• Support AI/ML and GenAI initiatives, including model integration and optimization.
• Collaborate across product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Development: Python, FastAPI, Java, Spring AI, Async programming.
• Foundational models: Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Llama, and local models.
• Machine learning: PyTorch, TensorFlow, and fine-tuning practices.
• AI frameworks: Google’s ADK, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face.
• Orchestration: LangGraph and multi-agent systems.
• Retrieval augmented generation: PostgreSQL, vector databases, advanced retrieval.
• Deployment: Docker, production APIs, and monitoring.
• Applied methodology: prompt engineering, workflow design, and GenAI optimization.

Preferred Skills:

• Java and microservices.
• Design patterns and full stack development.
• React or Angular UI development.
