About You

Thermoteknix is seeking a Python Developer to join our FPGA team. You will be using the cocotb Python framework to regression test a library of FPGA blocks that perform image processing. Experience with writing Python is essential, but no previous experience with either cocotb or FPGAs is required.

You will be working with the FPGA Design Team. We work together with hardware, software and mechanical engineers to bring new products to market.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Python Development.
  • Writing unit tests and test suites.
  • Code profiling.
  • CI/CD workflows.
  • Linux Makefiles and Bash scripting.
  • Writing code documentation (inline comments, docstrings and markdown files).
  • Minimum experience 3 years in industry.
