Python Developer

In this Python Engineer role, you contribute to a startup delivering advanced analytics for sports betting, leveraging statistical models and ML to generate insights for prop trading. You will build internal tools and data pipelines, enabling traders to access reliable data and actionable outputs. The role blends software development with data engineering to improve stability, performance, and usability. • Develop internal tools and systems to support traders, including automation scripts and web-based control consoles
• Build and maintain end-to-end sports data pipelines, covering data scraping, cleaning, transformation, and storage
• Monitor, investigate, and troubleshoot data quality issues (missing, inconsistent, or duplicated records)
• Maintain and enhance existing software projects, improving stability, performance, and usability
• Analyze sports betting data and communicate actionable insights to traders and non-technical users
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features

• 2-4 years of Python development experience
• OOP experience and ability to write clean, maintainable code
• Familiarity with Docker/containers
• Basic understanding of REST APIs
