Summary
Upvanta is hiring a Python Developer in Warsaw (hybrid, 50% office attendance) to build a data-driven automotive pricing and remarketing platform. Day-to-day work spans data pipelines orchestrated with Airflow, Python backend services and REST APIs (FastAPI/Flask), SQL with PostgreSQL/Oracle, and system integrations, with optional Angular full-stack contributions.

Required skills & experience
- 3–5 years of professional experience as a Python Developer, preferably with a data or backend focus.
- Strong Python skills, including experience with data-processing libraries such as pandas and building REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
- Solid SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
- Experience building and orchestrating data pipelines, ideally using Airflow.
- Good knowledge of Git, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD practices.
- Good understanding of API design and system integration.
- Ability to work confidently in English within an international team.
- Full-stack experience, particularly with Angular – a strong advantage due to the Motortrade front end.
- Experience with cloud data infrastructure and containerisation.
- Exposure to event streaming technologies, such as Kafka.
- Familiarity with data-quality and observability tools.
- Understanding of machine-learning workflows and the ability to collaborate with data scientists.
- Experience in automotive, leasing, pricing or remarketing is an advantage, but is not required.
