Python Developer

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.(non-negotiable)

• At least 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in Python development. (non-negotiable)

• Experience working in the banking, financial services, or fintech industry is highly preferred.

• Strong experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI. (non-negotiable)

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles, API versioning, and exception/error handling. (non-negotiable)

• Hands‑on experience with:

  • Docker (non-negotiable)

  • Docker Compose (multi‑container environments) (non-negotiable)

• Experience working in enterprise software development environments, including:

  • AWS (non-negotiable)

  • CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline and CodeDeploy)(non-negotiable)

  • Coding standards and secure development practices(non-negotiable)

  • Version control using Bitbucket(non-negotiable)

  • Code review processes

• Strong experience of relational and NoSQL databases: (non‑negotiable)

  • o PostgreSQL(non-negotiable)

  • o MongoDB+Kafka or any alternative implementation for a near real‑time data pipeline/streaming for large data sets.(non-negotiable)

  • o Basic to intermediate AWS knowledge (certification not required)

  • o CI/CD and Test‑driven Development(non-negotiable)

  • o Intermediate SQL background (MySQL, Postgre, Redshift) (non-negotiable)

• Experience implementing API security using:(non-negotiable)

  • JWT

  • OAuth2

• Good understanding of secure coding principles and application security best practices.
