Python Software Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python, AWS Serverless, Node.js, and TypeScript.
• Build and enhance responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and Material UI.
• Develop and support GraphQL APIs using AWS AppSync and DynamoDB.
• Design and implement cloud-native, event-driven architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, SAM, and DynamoDB.
• Build and optimize search solutions using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver business requirements.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, debugging, and production support activities.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Claude to improve engineering productivity.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Follow Agile development practices, CI/CD processes, and coding standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of experience in Python Full Stack Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, AWS Lambda, AWS Serverless, and React.js.
• Expertise in TypeScript, GraphQL, and AWS AppSync.
• Experience developing cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of DynamoDB, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Node.js, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
