Summary
Designs and leads Python-based software architectures for enterprise systems, focusing on scalability, security, and cloud-native development.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable Python-based solution architectures.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Develop proof of concepts and write production-quality code when needed.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to define technical solutions.
- Evaluate business requirements and recommend architecture patterns, frameworks, and technology solutions.
- Guide engineering teams on best practices for application design, coding standards, testing, and performance optimization.
- Lead technical discussions and support architectural decision-making across multiple projects.
- Ensure solutions align with scalability, reliability, security, and performance requirements.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to solve complex business challenges.
- Mentor development teams and promote engineering excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, including significant experience with Python.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale application architectures.
- Strong expertise in Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
