Python w/ Linux Developer

About the Role
We are seeking a Mid-Level Python/Linux Developer who thrives in direct, highly technical environments. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain backend services and automation pipelines, ensuring optimal performance, security, and seamless integration with our Linux-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain clean, efficient, and testable Python code for backend applications.
- Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot services running across our Linux ecosystem.
- Build and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash) to streamline deployment pipelines and operational tasks.
- Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to diagnose system bottlenecks and implement structural performance improvements.
- Develop and integrate robust APIs and backend services with relational databases.
- Maintain clear documentation for system architecture, APIs, and deployment procedures.
Core Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience with Python.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Linux system administration, shell utilities, and process management.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and writing optimized SQL queries.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a direct, technical mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Basic understanding of network security protocols.
