Our client is an Australian technology company delivering innovative software solutions that help organisations improve workplace safety, compliance and efficiency.They are looking for a QA Analyst – AI/ML Systems to join their team in a hands-on individual contributor role. This is an excellent opportunity for a QA professional with strong testing fundamentals who is proactive, curious and keen to build experience with AI/ML driven technology.
About the role
You'll work across a broad SaaS product environment, partnering with Engineering, ML/Data and Customer Success to ensure quality across the platform.
You'll be responsible for:
• Planning and executing functional, regression, integration and system testing.
• Proactively identifying quality risks, gaps and defects.
• Designing test cases, scenarios and test data.
• Testing and validating real customer data and system outputs.
• Investigating customer-reported issues and validating fixes.
• Contributing to automated testing and regression suites.
• Evaluating AI/ML outputs and identifying whether issues relate to software, data or expected model behaviour.
• Working collaboratively with Engineering, ML/Data and Customer Success.
About you
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a QA/testing role within a SaaS environment
• Strong software testing fundamentals.
• Experience with functional and regression testing.
• Exposure to test automation.
• Experience with API, integration or data validation testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, independent approach to QA.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
