QA Assistant Engineer / Engineering Assistant

Summary

Performs quality control inspections on electronics manufacturing materials and products, maintains compliance records, and resolves supplier issues in a factory setting.

  • Perform QC inspection of raw material, First Article Inspection, in-process assembly, PCBA and finished products (incoming, in-process and Outgoing).
  • Input & maintain Quality Records, create and update Incoming and In-Process Checklists and OQC Inspection Instruction.

  • Work with Production, Engineering and Suppliers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance.

  • Prepare & issue the Certificate of Conformity (CoC) and raw material environmental declaration documents.

  • Liaise with 3rd Party Test Lab on the raw material shipment and reviewing the the Decapsulation Reports.

  • Maintainence of Non Conformance Material Report masterlist, NCMR disposition and up-keeping the QA inventory count.

  • Issuance of Certificate of Conformance (CoC) for outgoing products.

  • adhorc assignments.

    Required Qualification and Experience:

  • Diploma / ITE in Engineering with min 2 years of relevant engineering/QA working experience in electronics manufacturing.

  • QC inspection of mechanical parts witih ability to perform dimensional checks, PCBA, in-process parts parts,and finished products.

  • Experience in raw material First Article inspection and IPC-A-610A is preferred.

  • Prepare Quality Record/Reports, IQC & IPQC Checklists, and Outgoing QC inspection instructions.

  • Knowledge of Non-Conformance Report, and liason with Suppliers on defective parts.

  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal relationship skill.

  • Good knowledge on use of excel ( vlookup) and data mining skill is preferred.

  • Ability to use the X-Ray machine for PCBA solderability analysis is preferred
