As a QA Automation Associate, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency by providing consulting services for a variety of business applications. You will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and offer training and support to validate seamless integration and utilization of these applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimizing operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support. Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks (UI, API, and/or backend) from the ground up

  • Define the overall test strategy — functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing — for owned features
  • Apply Gen AI and prompt engineering techniques to accelerate test case generation, test data creation, and coverage analysis
  • Analyze test results, track quality metrics, and report on release readiness to product owners and delivery leads
  • Collaborate closely with developers, architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the delivery cycle
  • Integrate automation suites deeply into CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast, reliable feedback loops.
  • Drive test data management and environment strategy for automated testing
  • Establish quality metrics/dashboards (coverage, defect leakage, automation ROI) and report on release readiness.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and preventive quality measures in partnership with development teams.
  • Lead performance and load-testing efforts using tools such as JMeter or k6 where required.
  • Mentor Associate-level automation engineers on framework design and coding best practices.
  • Coordinate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to align QA strategy with release timelines.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, test estimation, and quality risk identification
    What You Must Have

    - At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Computer and Information Science, Finance, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
    - At least 2 years of experience
    - Oral and written proficiency in English required

    What Sets You Apart
  • Strong hands-on experience in test automation with proven framework design ownership
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript for scalable automation code
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline)
  • Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman, including REST endpoint validation and authentication flows
  • Working knowledge of CCaaS platform features including IVR, ACD, routing strategies, QM, and WFM
  • Experience with API, database, and backend testing including SQL/NoSQL validation
  • Exposure performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling)
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery, quality gates, and release management
  • Platforms & Technologies:
    • Expertise with automation tools (Cyara, Playwright, PyTest, REST Assured, Cypress, Selenium or similar).
    • Cloud-based test infrastructure (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, Selenium Grid on AWS).
    • Security testing tools/concepts (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite basics).
    • Containerized test environments (Docker).
    • Prior experience mentoring or informally leading a QA pod.
  • Methodologies & Tools:
    • Experience working in SAFE Agile / Agile / Scrum development environments
