QA Automation & DevOps Engineer

Sii Group Colombia is looking for our next Quality Enablement Engineer (SDET / Platform Quality)

Have you worked as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer, DevOps Testing Engineer, or Quality Engineer and enjoy building solutions that are reliable, scalable, observable, and safe to adopt?

Then this opportunity might be for you.

We are looking for a hybrid profile that combines Quality Engineering, Infrastructure Validation, CI/CD, Test Automation, and DevOps practices.

This is not a traditional QA role, and it's not a pure DevOps position either.

We are seeking someone with a preventive quality mindset who can help engineering teams build delivery processes and platforms that are:

• Trustworthy
• Safe for teams to adopt

What will you do?

• Validate Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) deployments and platform configurations.
• Build automated validation frameworks for infrastructure, integrations, and delivery pipelines.
• Design and implement quality gates within CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure environment consistency across development, testing, and production stages.
• Validate security, access controls, configurations, and deployment standards.
• Create reusable patterns, golden paths, and quality practices that can be adopted by multiple engineering teams.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience in SDET, Quality Engineering, QA Automation, DevOps Testing, Platform Quality, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience with API and integration testing.
• Experience validating cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).
• Understanding of observability, platform reliability, and delivery quality practices.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with development, DevOps, and platform engineering teams.
• English level B2 or higher.
