The difference you’ll make

We’re looking for a talented and driven QA Engineer to help ensure our industry-leading digital loan systems continue to deliver exceptional reliability, performance, and customer experience. In this role, you’ll have the vision to support the development of high-quality technology, challenging the status quo and innovating every day with a product team devoted to transforming the lending experience. The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, high-growth environment where quality, automation, and operational excellence are critical to unlocking scale.

What you’ll do:

Test Strategy & Architecture

  • Design and implement comprehensive automation testing strategies across UI, API, and integration layers.

  • Execute performance and security testing initiatives to ensure systems remain resilient and reliable at scale.

Quality Leadership and Advocacy

  • Champion quality-first practices and foster a culture of testing excellence across engineering teams.

  • Mentor team members on automation best practices and emerging testing methodologies.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and tooling.

Technical Excellence

  • Develop robust, repeatable automation test suites using Playwright and modern testing frameworks.

  • Implement comprehensive API testing strategies.

  • Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline optimization to ensure fast, reliable deployments.

Analytics and Insights

  • Monitor test metrics, analyze quality trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

  • Proactively identify quality risks and implement preventive measures.

  • Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing initiatives.

What we're looking for:

Technical Expertise

Must-haves:

  • 5+ years of hands-on QA automation experience in complex software environments.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js ecosystem.

  • Commercial experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing (highly preferred).

  • Proven expertise in Page Object Model and other automation design patterns.

  • Strong background in CI/CD tools.

  • Database skills with PostgreSQL for test data management and validation.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).

  • Experience working with AI-driven solutions is a strong plus.

  • Experience in payments is a nice-to-have.

Good-to-have:

  • Background in banking, financial services, or fintech environments.

Professional Skills

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

  • Outstanding communication skills with ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven track record of working effectively in agile, fast-paced environments.

  • Experience with API testing tools and methodologies.

  • Knowledge of performance testing tools and security testing principles.
