Python QA Automation Engineer

📍 Location: Gdynia, Poland (Hybrid – 2–3 days per week in the office)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Python QA Automation Engineer to join the team in Gdynia. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test solutions for modern data-driven applications while working closely with development teams to ensure high software quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.

  • Design and implement test automation frameworks using PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar tools.

  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and the Requests library.

  • Execute and automate Big Data testing scenarios.

  • Build and maintain browser automation tests using Selenium.

  • Work with version control systems such as Git.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

  • Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to improve testing processes and software quality.

  • Leverage AI tools to assist with test preparation and the design of automation scripts.

Requirements

  • Strong Python programming skills for test automation.

  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar.

  • Good knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).

  • Experience with API testing (Postman, Requests library).

  • Hands-on experience in Big Data testing.

  • Understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with browser automation using Selenium.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.

  • Knowledge of PySpark.

  • Experience using AI-powered tools to improve test automation and test design.
