QA Automation Engineer / Quality Engineer with AI Experience
Summary
Remote QA Automation Engineer owning product quality end to end — defining test strategy, assessing risks, and making release decisions. The stack centers on JavaScript/TypeScript automation with Playwright or Cypress, API testing, CI/CD, AWS observability, and AI-assisted development.
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who wants to take real ownership of product quality — from requirements and development through testing and release.
This is more than a test automation role. You will help decide what should be tested, where the biggest risks are, and whether a release is ready to go live.

- 3+ years of experience in test automation with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or Cypress.
- Experience with API testing (Postman or equivalent).
- Experience with CI/CD.
- Good understanding of web applications and networking, including CORS.
- Experience working with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.
- Experience with AWS, logging, debugging, and observability.
- Practical experience using AI tools for development and test automation.
- Ability to assess quality risks and confidently make release decisions.
- English: C1+
Nice to have
- Experience with contract testing.
- Experience building or improving test frameworks.
- Knowledge of New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, structured logging, or tracing.
- Experience working in small, autonomous product teams.
