QA Automation Engineer / Test Engineer (Mid/Nightshift) | Hybrid
Salary: ₱65,000 – ₱85,000 per month
Join our team as a QA Automation Engineer and help us build high-quality, reliable software through both manual and automated testing.
We’re looking for a QA professional with minimum of atleast 5 years of Software Quality Assurance experience and minimum of atleast 5 years of hands-on test automation experience.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and regression test suites
Perform functional and automated testing for web applications, APIs, and databases
Develop automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools
Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similar tools
Validate backend data using SQL
Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
Identify, document, track, and support resolution of software defects
Collaborate with Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and other Agile team members
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, test planning, and release activities
Help improve test coverage, defect management, and overall software quality
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of atleast 5 years of total Software QA experience
Minimum of atleast 5 years of hands-on Test Automation experience
Experience with at least one automation framework such as:
Selenium WebDriver
Playwright
Cypress
or similar tools
Programming/scripting experience using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python
Hands-on experience with API testing and validating JSON/XML responses, status codes, and headers
Good knowledge of SQL and database validation using Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Experience with defect management and tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM
Nice to Have
Cucumber, Behave, or other BDD frameworks
Page Object Model (POM)
Docker or containerized testing environments
Cloud-based testing environments
JMeter or basic performance/load testing
Basic security testing knowledge
