Job Context
Ekinops develops SD-WAN and SASE solutions for communication service providers and enterprises worldwide. Within an international Agile R&D environment, you will help ensure product quality through robust automation across Web UI, REST APIs, and networking features.
Duties and Responsibilities
We are looking for a QA Test Automation Engineer with strong software development skills and a passion for product quality. Working within an Agile Scrum team, you will design and maintain automated tests for our SD-WAN solutions.
As part of the QA Test Automation team, your responsibilities will include:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.
Validate Web UI, REST APIs, and end-to-end workflows.
¢ Contribute to test strategy, test plans, and quality assurance activities.
¢ Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
¢ Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams.
Profile & Skills
You are a rigorous, curious, and autonomous QA professional with a passion for quality in complex distributed environments.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong Python development skills and software engineering best practices.
- Experience with Playwright, Robot Framework, Selenium, or equivalent.
- Experience testing REST APIs and working with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
- Good knowledge of Linux, Docker, Git, and CI/CD environments.
- ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent QA knowledge.
Networking & SDWAN Skills
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, NAT, and Firewall concepts.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with Wireshark, tcpdump, or packet analysis tools.
- Experience with iperf3, JMeter, or similar performance testing tools.
- Ability to automate networking scenarios using Python and automation libraries.
