QA Backend Manual and Automation Engineer
You will ensure the quality and reliability of backend systems that manage tracking, analytics, and delivery of order-related events. You will perform manual backend testing, validate REST APIs, write and run complex SQL queries, design and maintain automated backend tests in JavaScript, analyze data discrepancies to find root causes, debug issues, and collaborate with developers and product stakeholders to align testing with requirements and improve test coverage.
Responsibilities
- Test backend systems that handle tracking analytics and order event delivery
- Validate REST APIs and craft complex SQL queries to ensure data accuracy
- Design develop and maintain automated backend tests using JavaScript
- Analyze data discrepancies and investigate root causes
- Collaborate with developers product managers and business analysts to align testing with requirements
- Improve testing strategies and increase automation coverage
Requirements
- Experience in manual backend testing
- Proficiency in testing REST APIs
- Ability to write complex SQL queries
- Experience in backend test automation using JavaScript
- Strong data analysis skills to investigate and resolve data discrepancies
- Proficient debugging and problem solving skills
- Fluent Russian
