QA Engineer | Bangalore (India) Company: Important Group Job Location: India Employment Type: Full-time Description We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, hands-on experience with test case design, and the ability to identify and report defects effectively. Key Responsibilities Develop, review, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts. Perform manual testing and/or automation testing based on project needs. Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla, etc. Conduct functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing. Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to ensure quality deliverables. Validate API responses using tools such as Postman or Swagger. Work with automation frameworks (if applicable) such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium. Ensure compliance with quality standards and best testing practices. Required Skills Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle. Hands-on experience in manual testing (web/mobile). Understanding of API testing. Experience with test management and bug tracking tools. Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation. Familiarity with automation tools (based on requirements). Valuable to Have Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright). Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI). Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner). Exposure to Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). .
