QA Engineer - Civil Engineering Background
Summary
Tests construction-industry software (BOQ, estimation, drawings, project management workflows) via manual and automation testing, while leading testing activities and presenting QA reports and quality metrics to management. Requires a Civil Engineering degree and 4+ years of QA experience.
We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with a Civil Engineering background, strong testing expertise, and leadership qualities.
Requirements:
* B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
* Minimum 4+ years of QA experience.
* Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing.
* Experience in test case design, test execution, bug reporting, functional testing, and regression testing.
* Understanding of end-to-end construction workflows, including BOQ, estimation, drawings, and project management.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide team members, coordinate testing activities, and take ownership of QA deliverables.
* Ability to prepare and present QA reports, testing progress, defect status, and quality metrics directly to management.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
