QA Engineer

⭐️ CoreStar is a dynamic technology company supporting partners in heavy-load industries with high-performance solutions. Our expert teams bring a startup-driven mindset, focusing on innovation, collaboration, and efficiency in every project. At CoreStar, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills, tackle exciting challenges, and directly contribute to impactful products.

⭐️ About the role

We're looking for a QA Engineer to take ownership of quality across our web products — both the sites already live and the ones we're preparing to launch.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role, not an execution-only one. If you like being the person who knows where a product is fragile and can say so with evidence, this role will suit you

⭐️ Who you are

✔️ An owner, not a ticket-taker — you treat product quality as yours. You ask why a feature exists and who it's for, you raise risks early instead of reporting them after release

✔️ Risk- and priority-driven — you can explain why you tested this deeply and that lightly. You know the difference between "we found no bugs" and "we covered the risk"

✔️ Deliberate about test types — you know which technique fits which situation, and you don't reach for a full regression pass when an exploratory charter would answer the question faster

✔️ A clear communicator — you write precisely enough that a remote colleague can act on your report without a follow-up call

✔️ Diplomatic, but delivery-driven — you navigate differing opinions across dev, design and business teams with tact, while keeping everyone focused on the release date

✔️ Positive and resilient — constructive and solution-oriented under release pressure

⭐️ What skills you need to have

✔️ 3+ years in manual QA of web products, including sites running in production with real users

✔️ Solid knowledge of QA fundamentals: testing processes, methodologies, test documentation, client-server architecture

✔️ Functional and non-functional testing: cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, responsive layout, perceived performance, basic accessibility, usability, and security hygiene (input handling, authorization, exposed data)

✔️ L10n and i18n testing

✔️ API and browser-level testing: REST API testing with Postman / Swagger, confident use of DevTools (network, console, storage, device emulation)

✔️ Testing across the release lifecycle: both hardening a new site for launch and verifying changes safely on a live product (smoke on production, post-release verification, regression scope for hotfixes)

✔️ Monitoring and logging systems — Grafana, Coralogix or equivalents; able to use logs and dashboards to investigate an issue rather than only reproduce it

✔️ English B1 +
