QA Engineer

About the role

ICT sector professional with more than 6 years of experience in services related to Quality Offices, software development, process automation, and quality assurance. Experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, code quality and security analysis, test automation, and performance testing.

Experience working with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and SonarQube, as well as with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin. Knowledge of Cloud Computing, agile methodologies, and management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Demonstrable experience in the use of Artificial Intelligence tools as support for development and productivity improvement.

What you'll do

• Design, configuration, and maintenance of Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and automation processes.
• Advanced source code management using Git and application of branching strategies based on Gitflow.
• Automation of build processes and dependency management using Maven.
• Configuration and maintenance of static code analysis using SonarQube.
• Use of SonarQube plugins for security analysis and vulnerability detection.
• Code review applying programming best practices and proposing improvement alternatives.
• Definition and application of quality criteria and standards within the software development cycle.
• Design and implementation of test automation solutions.
• Development and maintenance of automated tests using Selenium, Cucumber, and Gherkin.
• Integration of automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and execution of performance tests using JMeter.
• Analysis of load and performance test results.
• Identification of performance issues and proposal of corrective measures.
• Application of agile methodologies in multidisciplinary teams.
• Management and monitoring of tasks using Jira.
• Documentation and knowledge management using Confluence.
• Participation in projects developed on Cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
• Use of Artificial Intelligence tools as support for code development, review, and optimization.
• Development and maintenance of applications following quality standards and programming best practices.
• Repository and branch management using Git and Gitflow.
• Automation of build processes using Maven.
• Development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Integration of quality and security analysis using SonarQube.
• Automation of functional and regression tests using Selenium.
• Development of BDD scenarios using Cucumber and Gherkin.
• Integration of automated tests into continuous integration processes.
• Analysis of metrics and results obtained during testing.
• Collaboration with development teams for the detection and resolution of quality issues.
• Application of agile methodologies and participation in Scrum ceremonies.
• Management of tasks, incidents, and work tracking using Jira.

• Use of Cloud solutions in Azure and/or AWS environments.
