QA Engineer

The role
We're looking for a Automation QA Engineer with commercial experience building and maintaining automated test suites for modern web applications.
You'll join a product team developing a complex web platform built with TypeScript and React, supporting project and resource management, planning, reporting, and collaboration across multiple user roles.
The platform includes complex business processes, role-based permissions, interconnected modules, and dashboards powered by aggregated data. You'll play a key role in ensuring product quality by developing reliable automated tests, improving QA processes, and working closely with engineers throughout the development lifecycle.
This is a full-time (1 FTE), fixed-term contract from August 15th until January 31st, dedicated to this product development project.
What you'll do
Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for our TypeScript/React web application.
Create automated end-to-end, integration, and regression tests for new and existing features.
Verify complex business workflows, user permissions, and interactions across multiple modules.
Work closely with developers and product managers to ensure high product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Investigate test failures, report defects, and support root cause analysis.
Improve test coverage, QA processes, and automation practices.

Contribute to CI/CD testing and help ensure reliable software releases.
What we're looking for
2+ years of commercial experience as an Automation QA Engineer.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated tests for web applications.
Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
Experience testing modern web applications built with React and TypeScript
Experience with API testing (e.g. Postman, Swagger).
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
Comfortable using AI-powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to support test automation and day-to-day QA activities.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality.
Good communication skills and experience working in Agile teams.

Comfortable working in a bilingual environment (Polish C1, English B2).
Nice to have
Experience with Docker.
