QA Engineer Intern (DeFi)

Compensation: $11k – $11k • No equity

Maroon is a hybrid cryptocurrency exchange that combines a centralised order book with hybrid deposit wallets for which the user always retains a key. We are looking for QA Engineer Intern join our early team of contributors interested in making significant impact on the product we build and its execution. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams such as product management, engineering, and design to translate business requirements into technical specifications for our digital products. Required Skills: - Hands-on experience with testing techniques and diagnosing the problems - Basic understanding of programming, in JS, TS and Python - SQL - Understanding of web3 and wallets - Ability to work asynchronously Responsibilities: - Work closely with team members (Developer, Product Manager, Customer Support and Partners) to develop detailed, comprehensive Automation test cases and deliver high quality products - Prevent, analyze and track product defects/issues + Root cause analysis of test script failures - Hands-on Manual investigation and reproduction of functional Backend software issues - Find out test script deficiencies and solutions for additional scripted coverage - Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact - Documentation and design of test scenarios for all of the above* - Stay ahead with latest technology, consistently enhance team's testing process, methodologies, and efficiency Why Join Us: - You will contribute to groundbreaking solutions at the forefront of blockchain, urban aviation, and real estate innovation. - Work in a collaborative and dynamic environment with experts in multiple industries. - Opportunity for professional growth and development in the rapidly evolving blockchain space. - Salary and Equity dependent on experience - We arean equal opportunity employer.
