QA Engineer - Intern

What you'll do:

• Take ownership of the QA processes within the team and take pride in the quality of our products
• Contribute to our automation framework by writing new tests and helping maintain existing test suites
• Write clear and concise test plans based on the requirements and document them on TestRail
• Be willing to perform manual testing, automation testing and documenting processes

We are looking for an intern to join our engineering team and gain hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance. You will work alongside experienced engineers to test software for Embedded devices, Web and Mobile applications.
Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Basic coding experience (Preferably Python or Javascript)
• Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn
• Familiarity with QA concepts and processes
• Work level proficiency in English

In this role, you’ll be an important member of our Quality Assurance team where you get to challenge ideas and contribute in a meaningful way to the future of the QA team by being part of process design, test documentation and automation. In this role you’ll be investigating and testing Embedded/IoT devices, Mobile phone applications and frontend & backend solutions. You’ll share your results and collaborate with engineers and other relevant stakeholders as part of your day-to-day work.

• Maintain a positive mindset and become an active member of the QA team

Our Software Quality Assurance team currently consists of four Engineers, three in Serbia and one in Munich. You will be under the mentorship of several of these Engineers who will guide you to get familiar with different testing methodologies, technologies, and frameworks.
