About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and technical QA Engineer I to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in extending our robust AI and automation frameworks to ensure the delivery of new features with high quality. You will leverage your experience in Playwright, TypeScript, and harden our AI framework and automated tests, contributing significantly to our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites using Playwright and TypeScript for both UI and API testing.

  • Work closely with other QE to ensure testing needs are met for continuous development

  • Enhance and make updates to our AI skills, rules and agents

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.

  • Implement and execute automated tests across various test levels (e.g., end-to-end, integration, component).

  • Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman and automate API testing using Playwright.

  • Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and faster feedback cycles.

  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

  • Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

  • Collaborate with other QA engineers and other stakeholders to iterate on projects

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing, automation, and AI.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on automation.

  • Experience in working with AI

  • Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.

  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman and automating API tests.

  • Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application architecture.

  • Experience in TypeScript and JavaScript.

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, particularly Docker.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium).

  • Experience with performance testing and security testing.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience with database testing (SQL).
