About the role
You'll own quality across the Motoloan product — covering mobile, backend APIs, and customer-facing workflows — as the product scales and evolves.
What you'll do
Work directly with Product Managers and Developers across the full development cycle, from test planning through release, on a product used by real customers making real financial decisions.
Test mobile applications and backend services in a regulated financial environment where edge cases have direct consequences for customers.
Identify gaps in test coverage, improve testing approaches, and contribute to how the team raises quality standards over time.
What you'll own
Design, execute, and maintain test cases for mobile applications, APIs, and backend services.
Perform manual testing of new features, product changes, and customer-facing workflows; analyze results and provide clear recommendations for resolution.
Build and maintain test documentation — test cases, checklists, and test reports.
Run regression testing across releases and product updates.
Contribute to test planning and QA strategy within the team.
Identify and communicate defects, risks, and technical issues clearly to developers and stakeholders.
What makes you a strong fit
3+ years of experience in software testing.
Experience with mobile application and API testing.
Hands-on experience with Postman, Xcode, or similar tools; traffic analysis tools such as Proxyman, Charles, or Fiddler.
Strong SQL knowledge: joins, filtering, and data validation.
Experience with test management systems such as TestOps, TestRail, or similar.
Clear, concise written communication in English.
