MSQ DX is searching for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our successful and growing team. The key focus of the QA Engineer is to develop a quality of process focused across multiple projects. The QA Engineer will collaborate closely with our QA team in Brazil and work in a cross-functional team to deliver digital transformation by using nonconventional thinking to get into the mindset of how product owners and end users view the product.
What You’ll Be Doing
The QA Engineer is responsible for Quality Assurance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, scheduling, coordinating and management of releases across different product categories. These releases can include product feature updates, bug fixes, new feature enhancements, and all other aspects introduced to the product line. This role is also responsible for quality review of various applications and includes creating test plans and strategy, test cases in partnership with developers, business analysts and project managers which are used to shape and verify code and check conformance to business and system requirements. The role relies upon manual testing tools and test automation as a new process within Arke.
What We’d Love to See
- 3+ years quality assurance/manual testing experience on public facing web applications, including validation across desktop and mobile devices, multiple browsers, and responsive breakpoints
- 3+ years of experience working on web-based software projects, including participation across the software development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, release, and post-release support) for customer-facing websites or web applications
- 2+ years of automated testing experience (Cypress, Playwright or similar) including test architecture design, reusable test utilities, test data strategy, and CI/CD integration
- 2+ years of experience validating API integrations (Swagger, Postman) or automated API testing frameworks (Playwright API, Cypress API, etc.)
- Previous release management experience
- Ability to work within an Agile or Waterfall environment, including identifying gaps, clarifying edge cases, and ensuring acceptance criteria are testable and aligned with business requirements
- ADA & WCAG 2.0 (level AA) Compliance testing experience
- Experience managing project requirements/test results within Agile tools (i.e., Azure DevOps and Jira)
- Experience using collaboration and documentation tools such as Confluence, ADO wiki or similar knowledge management platforms
- Preferred experience using cross-browser and cross-device testing platforms such as BrowserStack, LambdaTest, or similar tools for validating functionality across browsers, operating systems, and device types
- Highly self-motivated and directed
- Able to exercise independent judgment and act on it
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university, with a preferred concentration in Business, Management Information Systems, or Accounting
- Ability to maintain positive and productive working relationships with stakeholders, peers, and leadership
It Would be Nice to Have
- Preferred experience with testing on Content Management Systems (CMS) systems both from the user side and admin side (Sitecore, Optimizely, ContentStack, Contentful)
- Proven experience writing automated test scripts for functional and integration testing
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS sufficient to debug UI issues, analyze DOM behavior, and support automated test development, with familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, or similar
