QA Engineer

At Pretius, we are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of the products within the regulated gaming and gambling sector.

Project / Role

• Perform functional testing of terminal applications on new handheld devices

• Compare test results with the existing application running on current payment terminals

• Execute functional and regression testing for the lottery system

• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA

• Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to resolve issues

• Ensure software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance

• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes

• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and test management

• Working knowledge of Linux

• Experience with payment terminal testing, hardware testing, or device integration

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Fluent in English (min. B2+)
