QA Engineer

Summary

QA Engineer tests web and mobile apps, analyzes docs/designs, verifies APIs, and writes bug reports in a fully remote team.

Due to the dynamic growth of our company and an increasing number of projects, we are looking for a skilled QA Engineer who will ensure the highest quality of our web and mobile applications. We seek individuals who are meticulous, analytical, and proficient in analyzing project documentation, API, and UI designs.

What Will You Do?

  • Conducting functional, exploratory, and regression testing of Web and mobile (IOS and Android) applications.

  • Analyzing product documentation and UI/UX designs (Figma) to prepare test scenarios and identify edge cases early in the lifecycle.

  • Verifying UI/UX implementation against design specifications and design system standards.

  • Testing backend services and APIs to ensure seamless integration.

  • Collaborating closely with QA Leads, Developers, Business Analysts, and Designers.

  • Providing precise bug reports, execution logs, and QA metrics.

What Do We Expect from You?

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in manual testing (Web & Mobile: iOS/Android).

  • Strong experience working with documentation & designs: Ability to analyze requirements (Confluence/Jira), spot gaps, and validate UI against design tools (Figma/Zeplin).

  • Hands-on experience with REST API testing: Proficient in Postman/Swagger, analyzing HTTP requests/responses, status codes, and JSON payloads.

  • Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Database & Infrastructure skills: SQL basics for data verification (relational databases) and familiarity with CI/CD environments (e.g., Azure DevOps).

  • Proficiency in using DevTools, mobile debugging tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Xcode/Android Studio logs).

  • Languages: B2+ English (spoken and written, technical documentation) and fluent Polish (mandatory).

  • Excellent analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ownership over assigned modules.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • ISTQB certification (FL or higher).

  • Basic understanding or hands-on exposure to test automation concepts (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium).

  • Experience writing test documentation (test plans, test strategies) from scratch.
