We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our growing team in Argentina / Mexico!

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer with strong experience in functional testing, API validation, and backend testing. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills, the ability to quickly adapt to new applications, and a strong attention to detail.
This role requires close collaboration with US-based stakeholders, making advanced English communication skills essential for success.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
- Strong experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools
- Strong SQL skills for backend testing, data validation, and troubleshooting
- Experience creating and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications and business processes
- Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience working in Agile environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Symitar
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Experience in financial services, banking, or credit union platforms
- Familiarity with data integrations and system-to-system testing
Key Responsibilities
- Execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end testing
- Validate APIs and system integrations using Postman
- Perform backend testing and data validation using SQL
- Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects through resolution
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to requirements refinement
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns effectively
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices
