QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer
We are a leading SaaS company providing robust data feed solutions to a diverse client base. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Engineer/Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our data feed services through comprehensive API testing and automation.
Responsibilities
Lead the execution of both manual and automated tests, including functional, performance, and regression testing
Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and gather test cases for new features and existing functionalities.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for E2E & API testing using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
Execute automated test suites and analyze results, identifying and reporting defects with clear and concise documentation.
Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
Develop and implement efficient and effective test strategies for API endpoints and data feeds.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and automation frameworks.
Troubleshoot and debug issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
Provide detailed reports on test coverage, defect trends, and overall quality metrics.
Qualifications
3+ years of software testing experience, with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive approach to identifying potential problems and taking initiative.
Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in designing and developing automated test scripts (e.g., using Python, TypeScript, or similar).
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, K6).
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with performance testing and load testing.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
Experience in the SaaS industry or with data feed products.
