About us

Sunday Cloud is a fast-growing technology company with a startup culture, flexible working hours, and work-from-home flexibility. We are not just users of AI. We are AI builders and initiators, creating new platforms and technology with the ambition to help reshape Thailand's tech landscape. We give our people real ownership, decision-making authority, and direct access to decision-makers, with less hierarchy and more freedom to build, experiment, and make things happen.

About the role

We're looking for a QA Engineer to own software quality in depth: designing test strategy, building our automation test framework, and working closely with the Product and Development teams to raise product quality and continuously improve our QA process. Key focus areas include automation frameworks, CI/CD, and performance testing.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and assess risks to create Test Strategies and Test Plans covering both functional and non-functional testing

  • Design and build automation test frameworks for Web, Mobile (iOS/Android), and API

  • Define QA standards and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

  • Execute integration, end-to-end, regression, and API testing

  • Plan and conduct performance/load testing (JMeter, k6) and basic security testing

  • Prepare and run UAT with Product Owners and support business users throughout the process

  • Manage the full bug lifecycle and lead root cause analysis with developers when production issues occur

  • Analyze quality metrics (defect density, test coverage) and propose improvements to product quality and QA processes

About you

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field

  • 3–5 years of experience in software testing / QA automation

  • Proficient in at least 1–2 programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Go

  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Appium

  • Experience testing APIs (REST/GraphQL) using Postman or Bruno, or writing automated API test scripts

  • Comfortable with SQL/NoSQL databases and the Linux command line

  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Leadership ability, with the capacity to coach and share knowledge with the team
