Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design and implement automated testing solutions that improve product quality, reliability, and delivery speed. This role requires strong programming skills, hands-on test automation experience, and expertise in quality engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions.
- Build reusable automation frameworks and testing utilities.
- Develop API, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure quality throughout development.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyse test results and investigate defects.
- Improve automation coverage and testing efficiency.
- Support release and production-readiness activities.
- Define quality engineering standards and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging automation and AI-assisted testing technologies
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation or quality engineering.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript.
- Experience building automated testing solutions.
- Experience testing APIs and integrated systems.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and testing tools.
- Experience with CI/CD and automated delivery processes.
- Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.
- Understanding of Agile development practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Playwright, or Cypress.
