QA Engineer
This is a part-time role (20 hours / week) for a 6-12-month contract
- Create test plans
- Set quality standards
- Performance testing
- Automate tests
- Accelerate the testing process
- Execute quality improvement testing and activities
- Test Case writing: New Test Cases and improve existing test cases
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with the development team
- Share ideas to improve product quality
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- 3+ years of experience in the software industry
- Knowledge of QA/Testing processes
- Strong manual testing skills
- Experience with unit test and end-to-end test
- Experience with REST API testing
- Experience with UI test tools and libraries (e.g. Postman Cesium)
- Experience with Agile Tools like Jira/Shortcut
- Experience with Functional Testing, Regression/Integration testing, Log Analysis, and Troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills in both spoken and written English
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- Experience with Rest API test automation
- Startup experience
