Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated Manual QA Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in manual testing and API testing, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review business requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman or similar.
- Log, track, and verify defects using Jira or equivalent defect management tools.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, test planning, and release validation activities.
- Prepare test execution reports and provide QA sign-offs.
Required Skills:
- 5–8 years of experience in Manual Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in API Testing (Postman/Swagger or equivalent).
- Experience in preparing test cases, executing tests, and defect management.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Web and Mobile application testing (Android/iOS).
- Exposure to test automation tools/frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Testim, or similar).
- Experience leveraging AI tools for software testing, such as AI-assisted test case generation, automation, defect analysis, or test execution.
- Retail or eCommerce domain experience.
