About the role:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts. You will work closely with our development team to identify and address defects, verify new features, and maintain product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

This is an active opportunity and will support in US Eastern Timezone.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of software applications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation from a quality perspective.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
  • Communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and product owners.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proven working experience in testing REST, GraphQL APIs
  • Experienced in ECommerce and Order Management systems with complex integration scenarios
  • Experience writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Nice to have:
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language for test automation.
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
