About the Role

Join the Veeam Quality Assurance team and work on Veeam products with experienced QA professionals in the Lisbon R&D office. QA has the power to breathe life into our products. Testers are always at the center of the action: developing an idea, thinking through functionality, and conducting a thousand complex experiments — and this is not the limit. Our QA work is deeply hands‑on, focused on functional checks, exploratory approaches, and verifying real usage scenarios to ensure that “Veeam just works.”

What You’ll Do

  • “Deep diving” into our products, technology and profession
  • Analyzing software requirements
  • Testing one or several Veeam products
  • Communicating with other participants of the product development process
  • Evaluating test results, maintaining defects database

What You’ll Bring

  • Technical education background or a strong passion for technology
  • 1–2 years of experience in system administration, software testing, or software development
  • Strong motivation to grow professionally in the software testing field
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems
  • Good understanding of networking technologies and systems (DNS, DHCP, basic network configuration, etc.)
  • Curiosity and attention to detail, with a natural ability to identify flaws — key qualities for hands-on testing
  • Open-mindedness, strong common sense, and clear logical thinking
  • Fast learner with enthusiasm for interesting and challenging tasks (passion is valued as much as experience)
  • English proficiency sufficient for daily communication within international teams
