QA Engineer
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Testing
Conduct systematic and functional testing for different software systems, web applications, and mobile apps.
Assist the Test Lead in developing test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
Document test results and report any UI, functionality, or performance issues.
Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Senior QA Engineer position.
Requirements:
Diploma or university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or IT-related discipline.
2+ years of experience in IT-related services/industry, including at least 1 year in software/application testing.
Knowledge of software testing / QA methodologies is preferable.
Good command of English and Cantonese, with solid written and oral communication skills (able to type Chinese characters).
Immediate availability is highly preferred.
Senior QA Engineer
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Testing
Create and execute test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts according to specifications to fulfil business requirements and identify existing or potential issues.
Manage the testing process and workflow; review test results for completeness and validity to ensure all user requirements are met.
Collaborate with software/systems personnel throughout the application testing cycle, including SIT, UAT, and Load Test.
Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support to key users during UAT.
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance / testing best practices.
Supervise junior QA staff and perform quality checks on their work.
Requirements:
College diploma or university degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
6+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in software/application testing.
1+ year of experience in Government independent testing projects.
Broad exposure to a wide range of technologies (e.g. MS CRM, SQL, web-based applications, and mobile apps) and demonstrated experience in seeking out new and emerging technologies.
Knowledge of software testing best practices and methodologies.
Experience in using testing tools for test automation and management.
Fluent in English and Cantonese, with good written and oral communication skills .
Immediate availability is highly preferred.
