JOB TITLE: QA / HIL TEST ENGINEER

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT: ACTIVE DoD SECRET
POSITION OVERVIEW:
You are the final quality gate before the system faces independent DoD assessors. You will design and execute complex testing scenarios that span physical smartwatches, mobile apps, and cloud databases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
- Author the Requirement Traceability Verification Matrix and Test Plans/Reports.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- DoD 8570 IAT II/III or equivalent DoD 8140 Hardware/loT edge testing and traceability matrix generation.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ Years QA and Hardware Testing.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or CS.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level.
- Automated Mobile Testing (Appium/Selenium).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to physically handle, provision, and test wearable hardware.
TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS
- Minimal (0-5%).
