QA/QC Inspector

Summary

The QA Inspector is responsible for inspecting raw materials, components, and assemblies using precision measuring tools like calipers and CMM. The role requires interpreting engineering drawings and maintaining inspection reports in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect raw materials, components, fabricated parts and assemblies.
  • Conduct incoming, first-article, in-process and final inspections.
  • Read engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs and work instructions.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers and CMM.
  • Prepare inspection and non-conformance reports.
  • Support quality audits and train junior inspectors when required.

Requirements

  • High School/SPM/NITEC or equivalent; fresh graduates welcome.
  • QA, inspection or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Able to interpret drawings, GD&T and specifications.
  • Knowledge of precision sheet metal and machining is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom and wearing full PPE.
  • Able to work rotating day and night shifts.
  • Detail-oriented with good documentation skills.
  • Semiconductor experience is an advantage.
