QA & Integrations Analyst

Overview:

The QA and Integrations Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and accuracy of integrations between Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) systems. This position is responsible for the development and execution of test cases for integration points, validation of data flows, documentation of processes, and support during system deployments and upgrades. The analyst partners with cross-functional teams such as IT, business analysts, developers, and end users to guarantee that business requirements are met through robust technical solutions and effective quality assurance practices.

The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift with project demands. Participation in cross-functional projects and meetings is essential to ensure seamless integration and quality assurance outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and validate integrations between ERP and DTC platforms, including but not limited to Shopify, NewStore, and Exenta.
  • Understand and apply data transformation and information mapping concepts to ensure data integrity across integrated systems.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute test cases and test scripts for system integrations, focusing on functionality, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clarify integration requirements and expected outcomes.
  • Provide deployment support by partnering with cross-functional teams during system rollouts, updates, and platform upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including test cases, test results, issue logs, and deployment procedures.
  • Participate in broader projects such as system upgrades and new integrations, contributing technical validation and system testing expertise.
  • Identify, create, and manage test data across multiple systems to support comprehensive testing scenarios.
  • Contribute to user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles, working with users and developers to resolve bugs and defects promptly.
  • Participate in regression testing and support automation initiatives to ensure ongoing system stability.
  • Create clear and user-friendly documentation for users, workflows, and technical processes related to integrations and QA activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong understanding of system integration concepts, data transformation, and information mapping.
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing test cases and scripts for system integrations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in documenting test procedures, results, and technical workflows clearly and accurately.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with ERP, DTC, and retail systems, particularly Shopify, NewStore, and Exenta.
  • Familiarity with software quality assurance methodologies, user acceptance testing, and regression testing.
  • Exposure to project-based work involving system integrations and platform upgrades.
  • Experience with test automation tools and practices is a plus.

The base salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $80,000. The relevant base salary will vary depending on wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, degrees, and certifications.
