Summary
The Quality Assurance (QA) Intern supports
Link4's software quality assurance activities by preparing test cases and
performing structured testing of new features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
The role increases QA capacity as development tasks move through full QA
review, helping maintain test coverage and reduce delivery bottlenecks. The
intern will work closely with the QA Engineer and Engineering team while
building practical experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Key
Responsibilities
• Prepare, document, and maintain test cases
based on functional and business requirements.
• Execute manual testing for new features,
enhancements, bug fixes, and existing application functionality.
• Perform functional, regression, integration,
and exploratory testing as assigned.
• Identify, document, and report software
defects with clear reproduction steps, and retest resolved defects to verify
expected behavior.
• Collaborate with the QA Engineer, developers,
and other team members to understand requirements and support QA review
activities.
• Maintain accurate records of testing
activities and results, and perform additional QA duties as reasonably
required.

• Complete assigned test case preparation and
testing activities within agreed delivery timelines.
• Maintain clear and complete test coverage and
defect reporting, including reproducible steps and sufficient supporting
information.
Qualifications
& Experience
• Bachelor's degree, or currently pursuing a
degree, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a
related field.
• Prior professional work experience can be an
advantage.
• Academic coursework, university projects, or
self-directed learning in software testing, QA methodologies, or software
development is preferred.

Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software QA testing methodologies.
• Ability to write clear test cases, perform
manual testing, and document defects and test results accurately.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical
thinking, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
and the ability to collaborate effectively within a software development team.
Working
Relationships
Internal: QA Engineer, Software Developers,
Engineering team, and relevant Business Analysis / Product stakeholders.
External: No regular external working
relationships are expected.

• Physical / on-site requirements: Hybrid
